Fractions Add+Vantage Math Recovery

Shiawassee RESD Jan 9, Jan 16, Feb 20, and March 13, 2026, SRESD-ESC Corunna, MIK-8 Math Teachers and/or K-12 Special Education Interventionists.

Participants will study a research-based learning trajectory for fractions knowledge and apply diagnostic assessment tools (including the Fractions Concepts Assessment and Units Coordination Assessment) to analyze student thinking. The course emphasizes making instructional choices based on students' current knowledge and provides sequences to help students reorganize their understanding of whole numbers for meaningful work with fractions.
