MiSTEM Mid-Michigan would like to invite any educator in Region 7 to participate in a 3P (problem, project, place) Workshop. The audience for this two-day event is PK-12 Educators in MiSTEM Region 7 (Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Ionia, and Shiawassee Counties).
High-quality STEM learning focuses on '3P learning,' which encompasses problem-, project-, and place-based learning. 3P Learning is a student-centered approach designed to engage learners through experiential learning. Participants will discover 3P essential design elements, identify how to connect 3P learning to state standards, engage in project lesson planning time, and much more.
There is no charge for this event and participants will receive a $250 stipend and 11 SCECHs (must attend both days). A light breakfast and lunch will be served each day.

Connecting the SAT Assessment Suite and High Quality Instruction Shiawassee RESD December 5, 2025 Baker Welcome Center, Owosso, MI 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Do you want to know how your students performed on their P/SAT? Are you curious about what students need to know to perform well on the P/SAT? Wondering how classroom instruction can truly support college readiness? Join us for this full-day session where educators will: -Analyze and interpret your local district’s College Board data. -Explore the connections between the College Board’s Skills Insight and daily instruction. -Discover practical strategies and resources to strengthen students’ learning—both for success on the SAT Suite of Assessments and beyond. Walk away with tools and insights to align your teaching with college readiness skills that matter most.
